Staking MIVE ⇄ sMIVE

Swap MIVE to sMIVE to earn daily rewards. Claim anytime, and unstake freely to swap back to MIVE.

How sMIVE Staking Works

What is GLOBAL? >

GLOBAL represents the overall status of the entire staking system:

  • Total balance of all stakers participating in the pool.
  • Total remaining reward balance.
  • Total remaining sMIVE supply available for staking.
  • Halving Index — the higher it is, the lower the reward rate.
  • Current Rate and APR applied to staking.

GLOBAL values update automatically as more users stake, unstake, or as rewards flow into the pool.

What is sMIVE? >

sMIVE is the staking receipt token for MIVE. When you stake MIVE into the staking contract, you receive sMIVE as proof of ownership.

  • Your MIVE is deposited into the staking pool.
  • You receive sMIVE that represents your share in the pool.
  • sMIVE does not create new supply; it only represents your claim on the pooled MIVE + rewards.
  • As the pool earns rewards, each sMIVE becomes backed by more MIVE over time.
Staking Flow — From MIVE to sMIVE >

To start staking:

  • Connect your wallet and choose the amount of MIVE to stake.
  • Approve the staking contract (first time only).
  • Confirm the Stake transaction on-chain.

Your sMIVE balance is your staking position. You hold sMIVE while your MIVE works inside the staking pool.

Unstaking & Redeeming >

When you are ready to exit staking:

  • Claim your pending rewards first to receive all earned reward MIVE.
  • Then perform Unstake to redeem your staked tokens.

Depending on rewards accumulated, you may receive more MIVE than you originally staked.

Reward Pool & Halving >

The staking system follows a halving-style reward schedule:

  • Rewards are streamed from the global MIVE Reward Pool into the staking pool.
  • As the reward pool decreases past certain thresholds, the reward rate is reduced (halving).
  • The Halving Index determines the current reward level. Visit miziverse.com/app to check your halving stage before claiming.

📚 MiziVerse Staking Guide & Rules

  1. Connect Wallet → ensure BSC (56).
  2. Stake MIVE → you receive sMIVE (1:1) as staking proof.
  3. Rewards accrue per second while you hold sMIVE.
  4. Claim rewards anytime (if the pool has enough balance).
  5. Unstake by returning sMIVE to receive MIVE back.
  6. Halving → consider claiming before halving to lock in the current rate.
Auto Rate Halving
When halving occurs, any unclaimed rewards will be adjusted to the new rate upon claim. Best practice: claim before halving to avoid a ½ or more reduction on pending rewards.
Auto-Reward
Rewards are calculated every second based on your sMIVE balance.
Pool Dependent
Reward size depends on the reward pool (surplus MIVE). If the pool is empty/deficit, claims can be delayed.
Important
Claim first before transferring sMIVE or unstaking. Otherwise, any unclaimed reward will be forfeited.

🔎 When can rewards be delayed/reduced/forfeited?

Condition Impact Notes
Empty reward pool Claim delayed Wait until the contract is funded again.
Contract insolvent Claim/Unstake may fail Contract must be solvent first.
Transfer sMIVE Unclaimed reward lost Receiver starts accruing from zero.
Unstake before claim Unclaimed reward lost Claim first → then unstake.
Halving (rate down) Lower reward per second Automatic, follows pool conditions.
Before sending sMIVE or unstaking: press Claim first.
Check the solvency badge before claiming or unstaking.

By continuing to use Staking, you agree to the mechanism above. Claiming, staking, and unstaking use gas. Best practice: preview your status and ensure the pool is healthy before doing large moves.
